Title: Lee's bored T-bodies
Post by: The Olde King on January 07, 2003, 12:19:00 AM
Lee's performance offers " bored" t-bodies for $300 exchange. He claims a gain of 2 to 3 h.p. If this claim is true, then it is not a bad value.Has anyone purchased these? How did they perform? These are not the same as the set of "cleaned up" bodies that Dennis offers for around that same price?

King,

They work well, especially for the $$$$. I had them flow benched against the stockers, and the bored Tbodies with bigger plates. They were VERY close to the bodies with bigger plates.

I had him do mine for the Big poppa pimp project bike on dragbike.com and they work well. Not only does he bore them but he also did some sort of epoxy on the outside I assume to make the much thinner body stronger.
