any one have trouble with heavy duty starter gear rubbing the cases? and also what battery are you guys having luck with?
-
SPANK1, You're suppose to clear the metal back on the cases with a dremal tool or small grinder for clearance. And the battery of choice in most cases is YTZ14S (YUASA). (http://images/smiles/converted/thumb.gif)

I just bought a starter gear and like spank said, theres no instructions as to the clearencing that is needed. Any one know exactly what to grind off of my perfectly good cases? Thanks
-
Where the gear rubs. Grind just enough off for it not to rub. And have enough clearance. Do that and you will be in good shape. (http://images/smiles/converted/thumb.gif)
