-
Missed a few:
1999 - Red/Black, Copper/Silver. Black/Charcoal
2000 - Black/Charcoal, Red/Grey, Silver/Blue
2001 - Red/Silver, Blue/Silver, Black/Silver
2002 - Silver/Silver, Silver/Blue, Black/Blue, Black SE
2003 - Black/Charcoal, Silver/Silver, Silver/Blue, Black SE
(http://www.hayabusa.org/members/narcissus@industrialartistry.com/HAYA-1999-2002-Collage_L.jpg)
I have not updated that picture for 2003. I am waiting to get a decent pic of the blue/silver model.
-
Awesome- thanks!
-
Damn, hard to believe they've already had 16 schemes (15 if you don't count B/C repeating in 2000). (http://images/smiles/converted/beerchug.gif)
I'd *still* like to know why we always get one less scheme in the US... regardless of model or brand. Probably has to do with the TRE. (http://images/smiles/converted/lol.gif)

The 03 Blue & Silver comes in EUROPE ONLY (http://images/smiles/converted/kickass.gif)
-
Hmmm, makes me wonder-
Narc- is your list for US models? Do you have one for US only? Thx!
-
When dealing on my 2000,I would have given my right arm for a black/charcoal, but the salesman told me that it was only available in red/gray and blue/ silver. The black must be outside of the U.S., correct?

Yep u are right for europe (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif) (http://images/smiles/converted/moped.gif) My bike is also European
-
Me too. I have a 2000 and that was the only year that black wasn't offered in the US (if you count the SE in 2002). (http://images/smiles/icon_mad.gif)

That Doesn't Look Too Good... Not The Bike, The 1999-2002 Date. It Looks Like A RIP Tombstone Or Something. :Taps-icon: (http://images/smiles/converted/tony.gif)

Good point, I'll change that to 1999-Present when I update it. (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif)

That's the best part, it looking at what we don't get here. Sorry, though, I'm not going to bother doing a US-only version. When I make a complete list, I make a complete list. (http://images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)
I will probably go back and replace everything with stock versions, though. The black cans I added to the bottom six kind of do look out of place. Oh well, whenever Suzuki-Germany, or UK or Belgium or the other sites get off their butts and update their sites, I'll update the pic.

Black/Blue, nuff said. (http://images/smiles/converted/kickass.gif)

Man, lots of colors now huh? Seems to be alot, more than I thought after you see 'em all on paper?
-
Damn, I'd pay good money for a high quality poster of that, if its a good size that is.
-
Where did all the rear fenders go? Also incorrect is that they all have bright mid-pipes, only the '02's should have them. And why do some of them have black cans? Too anal? Maybe.
-
The 2001 line does not look right? they do not have a polished mid pipe do they? I thought they were all black coated. (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif)
-
sorry Art guess I should read better. (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif)
-
It's still pretty neat to see all the colors on one page like that. Most of us probably don't realize how many variations there until you see them all at once.
-
Different countries get different colors too. No red ones and no all-black SE's ever in Canada.
-
For those that haven't done this, you would not believe how good this looks in a frame. Nothing special, I just printed it on plain paper when it was originally posted. Placed it in a 8.5 x 11 frame. Have it in my office at work. I get many onlookers checking it out.
But I agree with Copperhead99. Wished it were a good quality poster! (Hint Hint for those that have the skills and shop equipment, with all credit to Narcissus) I'd buy one.
-
For you REALLY anal guy's (or trivia buffs) here is some further info:
The silver on the copper 99's is different than the silver that is on the 2000 + 2001 Blue/silver
The gray on the black/gray 99's is different than the gray on the 2000 red/gray
The black on the 99 is different than the black on the 2001
The blue on the 2000 and 2001 are the same, but different than the blue on the 2002 blue/black
The black on the 2001 black/gray is the same black on the 2002 black/blue.
-
What I never understood was why they used the bright midpipe and radiator on the 2002 SE instead of the black versions fom 1999 and 2000.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah... I edited the bikes to MY liking, and that just happens to be cut fenders and polished pipes. Also notice that none of them have reflectors. The German site made that easy for me.
I'll change the black cans when I update, since I no longer care for the way they look, but if you want fenders, black headers and reflectors, you'll have to do it yourself. (http://images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)
For anyone wanting a higer-res version of this for printing, get it here:HAYA-1999-2002-Collage.jpg (http://www.hayabusa.org/members/narcissus@industrialartistry.com/HAYA-1999-2002-Collage.jpg)

Thanks Narcissus.
Now I'll see what I can do with this until you next update. (http://images/smiles/converted/thumb.gif)
-
Can't forget the 2002 all black beauty!!!
-
2000 Blue/Silver, best looking except maybe for copper 1999. No Doubt, totally unbiased of course. (http://images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)
