has anyone here use or try JE stock bore high comp.. pistons 13.5:1 what was the power gain and what was your setup? trying to decide if i should keep the stock bore or go 3mm over for my up coming project...

No not the stock, but a 3 mm. The extra compression you will make hp but I think the extra tq would be much better with the extra 70 cc. Your already in there, $300-$450 for the boring. I have almost 11k hard miles now on my 01 1070 with a kit from APE (GSXR Zone) JE Pistons same 13.5.1 cr and still running strong. Builder is the key though. Mine is nothing to brag about, allthough lately I have been doing some..Must have something to do with that new end can?  need an Akra CF end can? $300 TYD in the lower 48.  Other 1070's on the net making more hp but mine has been very reliable. My only regret was going with the Yosh Stage 1 cams.

I seem to be in the 177-180 range. I have made gains in the low and midrange but can't get past the 178-180 range. 85-91 ft lbs tq. All on variuos mixtures of C10 and pump. The yosh cams are hurting me. The spray will be a small shot 20-30 hp.
