IS there anyone using the Double Bubble shield on there Busa? What I want to know , does it take anything away from TOP-Speed, Is it as Aerodynamic as the STOCK Shield.
-
The DB will allow you to tuck better, Creating better areodynamics. Great Mod! (http://images/smiles/converted/thumb.gif) (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif)
-
Donno bout aerodynamics but the one I have sure looks bitchin and it gets alot of comments too!
-
We'll thats two positives.
I think I'm going to try a DB. Thanks for the information. (http://images/smiles/converted/drink.gif) (http://images/smiles/converted/drink.gif)

I have a DB and a Bigger ST (Sport touring) shield. The ST shield feels like it does hamper top speed 5 or more mph. BUT it protects you MUCH better when its cold or rainy out. Either shiled offers more portection than the stock. If you are really worried about drag, get a DB drag racing shield - its a smidge lower.

I have the DB on my busa and I love it!
Im pretty tall so it helps alot!

DB love it. Helps top end because you can get under it.

The South Florida 9/10 crew seems to prefer the standard Double Bubble, and I don't think they would be using it unless it improves the top speed.
I have two different clear Zero Gravity Double Bubbles. I have the regular one like everybody else has, and then I have the "Low" version (also referred to as the "Drag" version). I like the Low one better. Either way, you can see your turn signal indicators without stooping down, and you can see through them. Especially the clear one. No more "Fun house mirror" effect like the stocker.

Its sounding better all the time, I'm sold, will be getting one shortly. (http://images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)

Kirk quoted...
"No more "Fun house mirror" effect like the stocker."
You crack me up...but it's true. (http://images/smiles/converted/lol.gif)

Who Make the DB zero Gravity???
-
Yes.

I have the DB and I like it. Probably the best and easiest mod I have ever done. I can read the dash now. Plus it makes the bike look much nicer

Great Prices on DB Screens (http://www.streetntrackimport.com/store/cart.php?cat=Windscreens-Seats-Luggage-Bodywork) (http://images/smiles/converted/yes.gif)

I hear the dark is hard to see through.

You heard correctly... it is darn near black, not just dark. Mine is a Sport Touring.

What makes it even worse for me is that my helmet has a dark tinted shield. Unless it is a bright, sunny day, I can hardly look through my two layers of dark tint and see anything clearly.
-
I have the Dark and you can barely see thru it. BUT IT SURE LOOKS NICE!
Wouldn't trade it for anything else.
-
I have a clear DB on my 'Busa. I love the way it looks, the extra wind protection and the optics are great. I can tuck under the screen and clearly see through it.
-
Thanks for the info the dark sure looks sweet but I would like to be able to see through it.
I guess I'll get the light smoke.
Iv'e been tossing it around for awhile (http://images/smiles/converted/lol.gif) to get a DB or not.
-
We might as we'll go and get them, They do look good, the dark ones look sweet, but I think I'll stick with the clear one. (http://images/smiles/converted/moped.gif)

Us 9/10 guys ALWAYS GET THE CLEAR you cant be running 200+ mph at night with a smoked one!
I use a smoked visor on my helmet, and at night i put the clear visor on, if your thinking of going
smoked sheild go with the light smoked one, but dont count on looking thru it at night. (http://images/smiles/icon_eek.gif)
