The car has made over 1000hp to the rear wheels, Now it has a different engine built to handle the boost they are gonna throw at it. They are expecting around 1400 at the rear wheels....

1400 at the wheels will be impressive....providing he can put it to the ground without spinning like that run at the drag strip. Hopefully you guys can get a nice Turbo busa to pop by too. Amazing how ego's and minds change when the bikes come packing boost (Vegas supra meet anyone?). 8)

bike made 210-215 the bike was never on a dyno and i seat tuned it off a base map this was a everyday setup not a race bike :wink: still used stock intake cam

I'm working to try and meet up with him in the next month. We'll see if it happens. With cars like that, there is always a good chance that it'll be in the shop shoring up whatever the weakest link in the system is when the time rolls around.

Work-In-Progress..............small 4.6 V-8 with Posi-Traction and a Procharger Supercharger (smaller 3.5 pulley) and true duals......gotta have bigger injectors and a new "Burn" on the stock ECU.........hoping for mid 300's on 93 Octane at the wheels..........we will see.
It is a sleeper........I just hope we can wake it up......Oh, yeah,......stick w/CenterForce Clutch assy. Hooks fine.

Old man isn't a canidate for chemo and no word on radiation treatment yet. We're just trying to make him comfortable ya know? :|

Actually, I did pin the throttle in 5th a couple of weeks past.........(on low boost.... :oops:).......
On Hi-Boost...........I have yet to wring-it's-neck..........Bike has a Wicked Streak in It that Intimidates Me..... :D
About the Family.............thank you for asking..........my son is now 16 and 6'2" at 205 and can kick my ass in his sleep.........
My daughter just got out of the Hospital and is recovering from a Cyst on her Right Kidney....
I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma..........in a very mild stage......apparently cancer has levels.
My wife is holding us all together.............she is a Saint.
My mom is now in a Old-Folks-Home about a mile and a half from my house........
Life is good. Every day above ground is a good day.

I'm game............Turbusa makes the number necessary to run mid-8's at 183 or so.......(525RWHP/310ft lbs).......same set-up as TMH.........also done by TMH.
That car prolly cannot cope with mid-8's.......even with another engine. :thumb:

Eric yu have a few of your facts wrong.....sorry to come to my own bikes defense but joes gt tt was making over 1100 hp the night i raced him and also it was a tad more then 6 bikes....look at the video again.......also he wasnt catching me at 180 because i shut down as soon as i hit the limiter.........the second run i gave him the hit and i also (every run) started at his mirror......the car is fast and would have reeled me in on the top end but i also was not tuned nor geared for the top end runs we were doing........
Eric i would have loved to spank all over your bike but yu could never seem to make it out to were we raced.......
Yu wouldnt run me 1st or 2nd gear roll or out the hole on the street only your race which was 3rd at 80(or come to the track which wasnt an option due to school and i have no seat time at all)......now considering your 16/42 to my 16/40(at the time) plus yu being about 50 pounds less then me id say yu attempted to claim the easy advantage to your side......

After reading Chris's post about letting you ride his bike because of a fuel issue and you said it felt like 200hp not 210. Well genius, I too had a fuel issue at one point and was only to get 193 hp with it missing up top. After I figured out what it was, we put it back on the dyno and I got 210. That was the only change. Thats 17hp genius. Thought I'd do the math for you in case you didn't have a calculator handy :stupid:. So if Chris's bike FELT like 200 when you rode it and he got his fuel problem fixed, he probably did have 215-220. Also, you say he ran 196 in the 9/10s. How much does he weigh and compare that to your mph in the 9/10s. What do you run by the way, obviously you've run it right?? But I'm sure with the head winds and 1200% humidity you were probably down 150hp right???? Keep talking oh wise one, you make yourself look more ignorant with every post you make.

it did get 20mpg, i drove from key largo to northern west palm beach just fine. it wasnt geared for 210, it had 3.55 gears i had no desire to try and make it a top end car, top end cars are easy, just gearing and tons of hp, it takes thought to make a car launch, go fast and work daily.

his car's performance can be achieved for $40-60k out of a mustang/f-body, they did not re-invent the wheel by throwing 1200+rwhp at a car that has long enough gearing.

It was still a mustang... dime a dozen.. ride like shit and handle like shit car...

his car's performance can be achieved for $40-60k out of a mustang/f-body, they did not re-invent the wheel by throwing 1200+rwhp at a car that has long enough gearing.
Hate to jump in the middle of this but you only need a fox body and less than $10k in mods to run an 11.00 (or quicker) in the 1/4-mile. You are talking about a 8-second Mustang for $40-60k.... :wink:

Shouldn't it be the other way around? It's possible to make a 1/4 mile car out of a track car (the GT-TT shows that ... and yeah, he needs more traction), but not so easy to make a track car out of a 1/4 mile car. I know that really smokes your grey cells, so don't worry about it too much. :lol: :P

The video is maybe a month old. The car was completed with the turbo set up in late April. Obviously the footage from when it was supercharged with the bottle (like the drag video from Orlando when it went 10.xx @ 144mph). I'm fairly certain that he's barely had the car for a year, if that.
