Okay, Fellas, here's what I got. I have a 2lb bottle, NX solenoid, braided lines, (2) fan nozzles (The tops are cut off so it sprays straight up), .28 jets and an MPS Fast FI box. The nozzles are pointing straight up and one is place between the 1 and 2 stacks and the other is placed between the 3 and 4 stacks.
Here's my problem. I started spraying in third gear right at 6000 r.p.m. and it wasn't very noticable. I tried 2nd and it hit a lil better. I took the air filter out and sprayed with the bike not running. It sprays, but doesn't cut off IMMEDIATELY after the button is released.
Now, here are my questions. Should it be hitting harder than "not very noticable" in third? Should I get new nozzles (since I cut the tips off the old ones) and change there locations? Could it be a bad solenoid problem?
Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm a "Nitrous Newbie."
Thanks in advance for your help.

where is your solenoid loc at?
-
when you let off the button, that is when the solinoid closes, but it takes a second for the pressurized gas to escape the lines
your nozzle location is one that i am not familiar with
i run 2 nozzles,1 in each air intake,with .028 jets......and it hits so hard in 2nd ( 7k ) that i can't put it into words
do you have a pressure gauge ?
-
Not hitting hard....... whats your bottle pressure?
-
I believer the bottle pressure is between 700-800lbs.
The solenoid is right in front of the battery.
I think I might try new nozzles (since I cut the tops off the ones I have now) and move them into the ram air tubes. Where on the ram air tubes would be the best place for them?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks for the help again, guys.

the bottle pressure needs to be atleast 900

what part of the country are you in ? if it's cold where you are b/p will be low if the bottle is full or not
if you have a digital bathroom scale, plop the bottle on there and see what you get  if it's 4 or less it's empty
here is how i have my nozzles mounted, just pop the tank to change jets

the pics aren't the best, but you get the idea

Im in that part that sells bottle warmers. Where u? Ive never seen nos run right no matter how full the bottle is if the pressure isnt right.

my comment was not directed at you,i was just trying to give slo rob some info

line length will have an effect to. Put the solenoid closer to nozzels with as short of line as you can get to fit.
-
Thanks, Guys. I think I'm going to try moving my nozzles and a bottle warmer.
Anyone know where I can get a good bottle warmer for a 2lb bottle? I saw one on the NOS website with some kind of safety valve (or something like that) that was preset to 900lbs. for like $155.
Does that sound reasonable and does that thing cut off once it reaches 900lbs of pressure?
Thanks again for the help, guys.

I'm in NW Georgia. It was kinda cold when I was trying to spray. Somewhere in the mid 50s to low 60s.

For sure go with an ARC pressure activated heater. I have one and love it. Fully adjustable too. Check it out here: http://www.mpsracing.com/products/ARC/heater.asp
I have this one: http://www.mpsracing.com/images/products/ARC/AN_3127dwk.bmp

Israel, be careful with that large of a dry shot... the area of two .028 jets is substantially larger than one .056 jet.... do the math....

Two .028's is about the same as a single .040

how can this be? two .028's would be the same as a .056 right? and two .020's the same as a .040, etc. im just asking.
