Problem solved - Help - Anti static film on inside of gauges
« on: February 20, 2007, 02:39:53 AM »
I cleaned the inside of the gauges lenses, only to find out I was a twat and shouldn't have. Any suggestions on rectifying the situation. DIY solution would be great.  :cry

Solution - It would seem that I haven't made as much nonsense as I thought - Thanks for info from Ice the static only affects paper type gauges (home made). I had mine printed on vinyl and stuck them in and all is good.

I havent re-installed the gauges yet (waiting for body panels to come back from painting)
Looking at earlier links to "gauges" on this site, it states that they must not be cleaned. The gauges generate alot of static, so i would imagine that it attracts alot of dust etc.
