trilogy of my latest busa...
« on: March 04, 2007, 11:25:12 AM »
when i first finished it last spring . (i wont post pics of it when i first bought it , it was quite tasteless)

the lil motor that could ! stock pistons and rods , milled and ported head by Performance Porting with the two outside runners moved inward 8mm each , 385 intake cam/intake on exhaust , 52mm 8 injector 05 gsxr1k t-bodies .

Had a lil GET-OFF that warranted a color change

testing the new nitrous system on the little motor

taking things to the next level

bodywork and Trac arm arrived (arm color now different) .

getting there... the big 1585 is alive !

hopefully be on the dyno next week... more to come .

+1!
Its looking badass bill!
Shootout?
Grudge?

Gotta couple questions.....
Is this a matt creation?
If so, he's doing an excellent job!

Didn't you have one of the first generation ultras?

I know, I'm being a little noisy but I'm wondering why you went from turbo to big bore nitrous set up.

Just curious that's all.
It usually vise versa, whatever the reason is you got yourself one mean ass machine there!

Hope you make it out to 131.

 :thumb:

a what creation ? Im a builder here at DBD now... this started out as frankenbusa... but its turned out pretty interesting at this point .

yeah i had an ultra kit but it was on the big copper bike that was stolen december 05 . I couldnt afford to build another turbo bike as much as i'd have loved too and Matt had started playing with new nitrous setups in his head so i offered my bike to be a test mule for the new nitrous stuff . on the stock cc motor with barley any mods we made 305hp . then a deal on a billet TTS 8.5mm stroker came along and i added some 84mm pistons to the bill... did some motor work for the wheels , buddy deal on the trac arm.... wholla...  it should make 400-420hp with the new dbd nitrous system and im hoping for 7.60's but not gonna go as far as to predict that . I doubt ill make it to 131... but we'll see . I might try that grudge race at the rock the first weekend of may .

fuel cell filler cap is the end of a mag-lite ;) crafty huh

actually yes , we're doing one right now . cant use the 8 injector throttle bodies like on my bike obviously but instead making a plate that incorperates a fuel rail and girdle to hold the extra fuel injectors . it requires the frame to be cut out between the two plates that bolt into stock but its an easy mod to do without completly disassembling the bike . We're so slammed with projects right now though that thats probably the slowest moving one of all . alot of it is still a vision but the frame is cut so theres no turning back !

Mcbusa and his buddy ran in the sevens.

I took the quickest streetire bike with an 8.34@174.

Still working out the bugs in the first half, so I'm hoping for teens real soon.
