Cutting side body panels
« on: March 17, 2007, 02:21:09 PM »
Want to cut both side body panels to lower bike more. Can someone tell me
or better yet give me some pics to do this. Looks like they follow the bottom
of top air duck. Do you use the front piece that holds the sides together. Maybe
just the top bolts. Seen small pics here but nothing up close. I'm going turbo
with low profile oil pan. Want to lower bike more for dragracing. Advice or pics
would be great. Thanks.

You can see more in Members Projects... http://www.suzukihayabusa.org/forum/index.php?topic=42378.0

Draw a straight line a 1 inch below the front hole along the top of the small lower vent hole.
Just mask it off and use a dremel... Block sand it to make it perfect.  And a liittle touch up paint is all you will need.
