Probably because it's not STOCK anymore. He really wanted to put on a SHOW in front of a lot of people. He never figured that I could MATCH him when he started talking about PAPER !!!

It's a new year and it's definitely going to bring a lot of surprises !

VIC called me several times throughout the week talking about getting with Boost,never "once" was any $$$ mentioned until we showed up at the show.
Actually called me late last night talking SHIT,you know I need my REST !!!
I told him that I would put up the money and "ride" it myself since he wasn't riding his "own" bike it shouldn't matter. No response yet.

It really sucks that Jr. would call a race to see how his bike would run against mine - a stocker vs. a stocker... but when it came time to race he wanted to throw money - NO money was ever discussed before.
Then when it came back around to race for money - he PUNKED out!
As far as I know, regardless of who races, when money comes into play then it's all a joke. Ha! But, the real deal is that he can't ride, he'll never be able to ride and that's that! All show and no go. If you really wanna race come to the track!

Mayhem,I misunderstood. I "thought" that the bike Jr. was going to ride was at least a "stock" engine but now I'm not sure when he said that "he would only race for money". When I told him that "I" would race him for money HE DECLINED ! I've talked with Vic since then and everything's COOL,I think

I dragraced cars for 8 years week in week out. Some mutual freinds of freinds are always trying to stir it up that I cant beat their turbo T/A w. my modded busa. I laugh because I know on the street I should be able to run a mid 10 second !/4. (stessed "on the street") and doubt that the T?Acould match it. The track I suspect much faster. It would blow my mind if I lost to these guys even though it's entirely possible. When I hear the talk, I'm like lets go to the track and we can run independently of each other and compare slips and whosever faster is faster , the track timer don't lie. That ussually ends all b/s and bravado these people talk. I say put up or shut up because all else is bull shit and who wants to listen to that? I'm not in that buisiness.
