Hey guys, wish I could but I went last Friday busy as shit. I have not been able to go for awhile due to working all the time. That was the 1st time I got to the track since the last shootout last year. The track was good but a lot of people there I only got about 5 passes in, the wait was about 45 minutes between runs. I could only manage 3 9.001 to 9.006 runs other than that it was standing up all the way down the track. Getting ready for San An. next Sat for the shootout.  See you guys next time

Do you guys know of a good tuner in Houston, puttin a m4 gp on my 07 1000 and would like to get it checked out on a dyno thanks
Bill

Tommy I couldn't find those bushings anywhere.  I could find 3/8 od and 1/2" od but no 7/16".  I bought a couple in the 1/2" od with a 3/8" id in both brass and nylon.  I don't think I can drill the pegs out to 1/2" though, not enough meat on em.  I am gonna work on them tonight and see what I can figure out.  Other then that, the bike is as ready as its gonna get..

BILL, NICE on the 9.00s... thats getting very close, you are only riding with like 7lbs of boost also right?  what was the stats on the slip?  mph?  When I went a few weeks ago I had several issues as a rider and I just could not get my head straight but since then I have changed seats, got lower pegs and will try some different seating positions.  I would be satisfied with 9.0s on the spring but I really want 8.90s.  It will take a 1.50 something 60' to get it.

How you been Bill? I don't even bother going on Friday nights anymore...TOO FAST, TOO FURIOUS. I drive to Lake Charles for my tuning, hopefully someone can help you. Alan, where I got mine don't have them anymore either. You can order them from McMaster Carr, they have them, takes about 3 days to get stuff from them.

Tommy I found some nylon bushings that are 1/2" od and like 9/32" id.  They are a TAD loose on the pins but not bad at all.  I drilled the pegs out to 1/2" with no problems.  I machined the pegs to fit tight in the rear sets so it should fit good. I am putting them in tonight. I am also doing the final inspection on everything for sunday... I should be good to go.

Then I got a part I need to put on my jet ski and new t-top seals and weather strips for the vette so I gotta busy friday night.  I have a vette show in Sugarland tomorrow so I gotta git r done.

I can't ride... thats all i know.... Not sure what my problem is but I definetly have one.... I need to go back to all motor. I could not 60' or 330' AT ALL....only thing good was I was still gaining 33-34mph on the back half but my front half was just pitiful...125mph in 1/8....I normally run 128-129.

I am gonna try one more time next sunday and if I can't get it down, fuck it, I am just gonna street ride it.  Shit pisses me off.

My best 60' was a 1.75....

Did you guy's show up ??? I got there about 6pm. Did not see zx alan. I did see aa few vehicles parked under the syands though. I need to meet you guy's so I can know who you are. I was in my dodge , saw a couple of runs by the bikes , near the end Jackson lost his chain and it locked up the rear wheel he saved it . My buddie charlie was already on the trailer, blue/silver busa with the checkerd front fender.

Donnie, I probably left at 5:30p or so.. I was so pissed that I couldn't ride well I loaded up and went out for Margaritas.  I am not sure what my problem is, I think I am just sliding the clutch too much and not getting WOT quick enough.

On another note, my rear tire burned a hole in my trunk floor, first time that has happend.  I guess the wheelies didn't help with that.  I need to lean my map out from 10,200 and up as the afr was in the 10s, I think that was causing it to break up on top.

I MIGHT try this sunday and try leaving lower, getting the throttle on sooner and hope for the best...>Then after that, i am done with it.  I just don't have patience for this shit anymore.  I would rather just ride it on the street and enjoy it.
