07 zx10 mph problem

my friends bike does not read mph anymore....went down weeks ago but only fairing damage...tach works,just not reading mph or miles......please help me find problem.....

It looks like it is your speed o sensor. If I am correct with out looking at my manual it reads of the trans part. Not sure have to read service manual.
