My gauges are going crazy
« on: July 30, 2009, 08:13:10 AM »
I just got my 05  Hayabusa together and got some problems i think. I just wanted to see if you have ever heard of this problem. When i start it the guages go blank and do not read the miles, clock or anything. And then they start flashing (on and off) the miles and clock after that happens. Also all of the lights( in the guage cluster) and the needles for the tach and speedo, temp, and fuel  keep waving back and forth . Have you ever seen or heard of such a thing? Also getting some backfiring in the motor too. Ecu maybe? any help will be great cause im sure im not the only one who has had this happen. Im thinking its a code from the ecu???????????

if you look in the manual there is a way to recalebrate the gauges.. i forgot how to do it though, might want to give this a try
