Bike is "fluttering"
« on: April 29, 2007, 07:01:11 PM »
Need some help with this one if you will. Have a 2000 busa, MR turbo kit, with snow performance water injection, 10 over arm, mickey tire, etc.
Bike is dragbike only. Ran good last weekend, brought it home and parked it, went to the track this weekend and runs like crap. When I launch the bike it
falls on its face about 20-25 feet out and never recovers. Engine just "flutters" at around 7000rpm. Bike is making 15 pounds of boost, fuel pressure is normal, and the EGT is right at 1000 degrees, this is with the throttle pinned. I have checked the fuel line for kinks, and checked all my electrical connections and found nothing. Bike was running 7.20s (1000ft track) last week and now im in the low 12's. But hey it never spun or came up. Does anyone know of a sensor that could cause this, or anything else. Thanks for any help you guys might have.
