TRE on new Busa
« on: February 20, 2007, 10:35:05 AM »
Just brought a 07 busa, I only have 100 miles on it. I want to put a TRE on it, how long should I wait before I put it on.

Just my opinion, however I would never install a TRE until the Kanooter Valve is fully seated.

I have dyno tested a tre and they help significantly from 0-20% throttle in the bikes torque output. However they do not affect air/fuel any more than .1.Eg 12.9/1 to 13.0/1.I also saw a slight loss in full throttle power and torque with it fitted. A good street mod, just remove it for the drags.

If someone buys a new busa, you are assuming then that it is their first bike, and they can't ride?   :?
