I need info about securing a trackday on SEPANG, Malaysia
« on: May 29, 2007, 09:59:01 PM »
Does ANYBODY have a clue how to get on a trackday overseas?  We've emailed but no response.  Wrong language?  The website is fully english.   Anyway, if any of you have traveled to other countrys for trackdays, I could use hints and stuff.  Like, where to rent track bikes, or other unseen issues that crop up.  Thanks!

PS I will NOT be shipping my busa over for this.  nor buying a bike only to sell it back.

When , i go to Malaysia on business I usually go along to a track day every time. The prices are very low compared to what we pay here in OZ. Also the website isnt correct as they often have 2 or 3 track days a week.

Note , they arent all that well organised with anyone and everyone out on the track at once..from nutters on 100cc mopeds to 1000cc road bikes to all out Superbikes. Safety is also marginal wrt marshalls and 1st aid.

A guy called Barry hires out track bikes( sometimes if they arent crashed )..his cell is 0192123350 This is a local Malaysian number

Another guy who does the tracks pics is called Mikko Nassi. his cell is 012 260 8102 and his web site is www.shootmoto.com

hope this helps as Sepang is a great track and easy access from KL with excellent motorways in and out of the place
