did you change to an aftermarket exhaust? get a power commander and have it mapped  for the exhaust you have and it should eliminate the back firing, removing the baffles will just make it louder, only problem it causes is that your busa is not running at its best performance. but if it is the stock cans and you just gutted them, they are not designed to remove the baffles.

Taking off the pair valve and using a blocking plate on the ports might cure it. Mine ran a little rougher and backfired once in awhile with just changing from stock to D&D slipons, which were straight through eliminating the backpressure of the stock system. I didn't do the pair mod as I was tired of the noise anyway so went back to stock.

This is an easy fix... The black hose that is on the bottom, right hand side of the airbox, plug it with a marble and reattach. Problem solved... no more backfire!! I promise this works, ran my bike with modded cans for two years with this mod.  :thumb:

Remove the Pair valve. This should solve the backfiring problem.
