there weren't any changes between 05 and 06 were there? just colors? i'm STILL looking for an 05-06 1k black/grey

i agree with that, of course red stripe is an easy fix with a piece of that tapeworks junk.  i just cant decide if i want the lower dark/black or the top/middle. i guess in the end it doesnt matter whichever i find at a better deal i'm gonna buy.

i think i found my bike. its 1000 miles away from me, but fuck it.

$10,000 2005 5400 miles black/grey...  ohlins shock, forks, steering damper, SS brake lines, Marchesini forged magnesum wheels, sato rearsets, full tiforce, PC3, quick shifter, and some other little things. plus ALL stock parts including stock wheels, shock,forks, etc... that seems like the best bang for the buck i have found by far. if i want i can sell the ohlins stuff and the wheels, put stock back on and end up with a very well priced bike.

i told him i would buy the bike if he shipped all the stock parts to me because i would be flying to new york to pick up the bike and riding it back to tennessee.  :shock:


there is a guy in nashville with a stock 2006 5600 miles just slapped a pipe on it no PC, he wants 9600 for it... rediculous... i found several other bikes for sale too but none of them add up to what i want for the money.

both are nice..you should be able to find alot for less,but with all those goodies..

I just found a few months ago a black/yellow 1k from a Member here for a buddie of mine..nice bike with lots of extras and low miles for $7100..blk/yel are getting really hard to find!!

7100? damn, i can't find anyone willing to let their bikes go even stock for less than 8,000. im so tired of looking for a good deal on either a turbo bike or a pipe/PC3 bike.

all that ohlins stuff on this bike is not cheap, neither are those wheels, so i figure it's worth it even if i probably wouldn't spend that money on the suspension stuff or the wheels myself... and it's piped and mapped already. i'll probably end up selling the marchisini wheels and putting stock back on since he's giving me those too.

im really picky too, i have to get a black/grey otherwise i will end up wanting to have it painted or buy different colored plastics.
