thanks  kat/ jynx

good points added by both you guys,..  to add to all of that,.. in dealing with suspension both accuracy and consistency in the measure and records are important!

full gear is good,.. but only accounts for about 10-15 lbs,. on the other hand fuel weight is over 8 lbs per gal right?,.

i always measure with a full tank and try to have the riders gear as well,..

as kat said hitting against no rebound (or full fork or shock extension), is not good,.. worse in a corner on the front,. bottoming out is also not good,..

there is alot of math and theory involved with suspension tuning, but if kept accurate and simple and keep records of all yer changes experiences,. after a while this becomes a book of secrets! the secret of tuning.

personally i have over 12 years of bike/track/set up including riders comments!  Now when i have a proble i go back and can usually find the same exact situation,.. and what worked or not!
robert-  to most a "YANKEE",.  i live in the south and tell em "but i'm from "southern" california!
