what size jets to use?
« on: July 22, 2007, 10:12:49 PM »
i have 34 nos/32 fuel size jets my bike seems like it pulled harder with my old 32/30 jets could it be too rich with the new sizes i have the secondary fuel pump i got with my nos system i always thought that bigger was better but this has not been the case it even seems like the nos is much more inconsistent almost like it only works half way sometimes then works fine other times
thanks for the help

I think Bottle pressures is the most important part, when it comes to Consistent HP increase.

Usually runing leaner would give greater tq and Hp#'s.
What fuel pressures are you running on/with secondary pump?

Did you ever have check AFR with the 32/30 setup? maybe that was too rich. Maybe now your adding more fuel to an already rich condition. You could possibly get away with a 34/30 combo. just my 2cents. I'm not a wide band commander. You may want to look into a wideband commander to data log your runs so you can see where your AFR is at. Or you can keep paying a dyno every time you make a change.
