What does it take to fit a 1000 fender on a busa? Maybe some instructions and what years? I have an 03 600 fender that doesn't work. Anybody have this done right now?

You could PM the following board member. I know he has one on his busa. He could help you out.

05-06 1000 fender is what your looking for.  you'll have to cut off the upper tab on the front side of the leg, then make a bracket from the bottom tab that goes up for your top mounting hole.  you'll also have to cut and raise the rear mount hole on fender. if anyone wants pics of it, send me your email and i'll get em to ya.

Another alternative is too cut your stock fender.Alot of guys are doing that around here. They can be cut to look alot like a 1000 fender. Here is an example of a cut Busa fender,I think im going this route.

03 will fit as well as 00 750 and 01 and up 1k..same stuff as above cut off 2 tabs make small brackets but no other work, back bolts right up..

2 bolts will be dummies..done this back in 2000 on My busa with a SRAD fender(alot more work/welding ect) and put a 1k fender on a buddies in 2001..

why would you want to put a 1000 fender on a busa?

i like the look of a smaller front fender like the liter bikes.
and i think it makes the front wheel look better.
it just looks more "sporty" to me that way.
i'll get a 1000 fender or cut mine.

Why put one on?  Because clearly they look so shitty.

I needed a new front fender anyways, so when I decided to buy one in CF, went to the 1k style.  I like it.

This is the same exact one that Charles is selling, twill carbon fiber.
