Keep in mind that the CF ones like I have do NOT have the rear mount holes, only the front 2.

I am working on grinding down my stock Busa fender. When it is done, I will post a pic. It looks pretty good so far, but not finished!

For clarification is that for the standard CF or twill CF?

Ok, here is my re-worked busa fender. I shaved it down to look like a 1K fender as suggested in this thread. It still needs paint.

I want to know how to get a 1K fender to sit right on top of a 70 series tire...nice and snug like.  Is it possible?  I hate the large gap between my fender and tire!

Any picture updates on the brackets needed to make the switch?

Also, it seems that the new 1K fenders fit more snug to the tire than the 01-04 models...is this true?

besides the SRAD fender I first did I my bike in 00 Ive only done the 00-01 style fender,I think the newer fender bolt patterns are different than the 00 style..I think the 00 fender looks great not too small and simular to the busa style..

Do you mean snug to a 60 series tire??

Im going to try to take some pics of the brackets needed, there small and easy to make,If you got your busa forks shaved and slipped the gixxer fender down you would see what needs to be made..

Nitrous is like a hot chick with STD'S...You know you wanna hit it but your just not sure of the consequences.

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

i lowered forks internally 21\2'' switched forks from l-r,r-l so that the brake calipers are sitting out front.installed braided brake lines.fabbed up brackets to mount 07' gsxr 1000 front fender.i am running a pirelli mt 75 low profile tire.added a triple tree then drop another .800''. total drop in the front about 4''.had to cut the fender some to clear the brake calipers . came out bad ass looking .no more cracking stock fender & hitting my radiator .and with the calipers sitting way out front the bike launches hard and clean. will post photo's when i get the chance.
