It is time to start working on my hole-shot.

What do you think of this swingarm extension from APE?

I know you make your own.  But.  When you are compressing this bolt  Do you really feel it may twist, bend, or buckle due to it's diameter?

some drag racers run their axles loose to free up the rear wheel which in turn frees up horsepower. This puts more stress on the axle adjuster bolt. I have seen them bend. These are some good extensions. I'm just giving you some info.

JR

I had a set of those on the NA Hayabusa at the Texas Mile. Jen dragged raced that Hayabusa all last year with those extensions with no problems and with a lot wins I might add. The adjusting bolt is actually 3/8" and that is the same size that is on my Mac arm on the turbo bike. I bought mine from Spensercycle.

See you at the mile.

Roger,

Thanks a lot for the information.  That is probably the way I will go.

I get my 1397cc back this week.  I turned the 1299cc bike in on the 24th of May to start the upgrade.  This Thursday it will be 10-weeks.  I think that I will have to learn how to ride again.

I hope that Jen, you and I all get to go 200-mph this time.
