On his way to come riding with all of us, Danno got hit. Apparently some asshole ran a red light and broadsided him. His leg is broken and he is going into surgery right now.

It doesnt sound good. I hope he is OK.

Im going to try and call him now and get more details...

Terrible news to get while we were waiting for him to show up. True to BiggerDanno form, when we called his cell, he picks up and tells us he is on a gurney being wheeled into surgery and that he wouldn't be making it to the meeting point after all. FUUUUUKKKKKK! That just sucks. He's probably out for a while. We don't know what the extent of the damage is yet, but do know he was conscious and lucid. Sounds like his leg is messed up, however. Someone please post if they get an update or talk to him once he comes around.

Let's just hope the driver who hit him has VERY good insurance.

Shit, same thing happened to me a little over a month ago...........I was luckier. Hell, I hope he is ok............sometimes there ain't nothing you can do, except not ride..........and that ain't going to happen...........best wishes Danno...................

MORE INFO. just got off phone.

The car pulled in front of him and then he hit it.

He sideswiped the car, not the other way around.

Went in one side, and came out the otherk, thru the windows.

Leg is broken above the KNEE in 2 places. the bone fragment resulting was turned sideways, and that is why they had to operate.

Possible broken hand.

Bike is gone.
