Yup, it was very surrealistic. I could not believe it as I was standing there with the boys, talking to him on Sterlings cell and he's saying "im on a guerney heading into surgery!"
say What! What are the odds of calling at that exact moment. It was just wild.
I repeated it out loud so the boys could hear, cos I thought he might be joking, that was untill I heard the ambulance guys telling him he had to hang up.
We thought he had been broadsided by a car all day while we were riding, thank god he hadnt. A broken femur is nothing short of miracle considering what could have happened. He said he went in one window, through the vehicle and exited the through the other window!!!!
Damn, what are the odds of that!, All that glass breaking prolly slowed him down a good bit and helped absorb the impact. Its incredible
I asked him if his neck was ok considering that he hurt those bones in the last accident, and he joked that it was now tough enough to withstand that! Good for danno!
As I told him tonite, I am just so glad that hes not in pieces. Broken bones heal, missing body parts are hard to lose!
