sweet bike! i was going to s/c my bike and one of the things tts told me is i would have to modify the header so the rotrex unit could go into place. was that done on your bike or did it fit without that mod?

Absolutely correct, the Yoshi stainless headers were cut and welded around the blower unit which is sat to the front / right of the motor. It wasnt a major job, more a "swan neck" of the pipes around  :thumb:
The stainless grille in the front of the bike is to hide the void thats left with moving the oil cooler. The rad came forward to miss the blower too.
Its a very neat job under the plastics.
We have a new oil cooler underneath the nose cone / infront of the headstock with the plastics modified to direct air onto it.

Mark ( the bikes creator) is coming round shortly for a cuppa tea and a natter, he wants to see my bike now I have it in bits again !!  :thumb:

Got most of the parts in to do the swingarm and fit the new wheels..... saving it for the Christmas holiday time  :thumb:
A little refuge time in the garage is good at thsi time of year, peace and quiet, little bit of solitude...

When you start replacing bits with trick stuff, it then shows up something else, and something else and on....
You know how it is ?

This was three weeks ago.
Latest photos will follow asap. Or as soon as it stops raining.... mind you raining is too lightweight a word for this ongoing monsoon in England !!

Forgot to mention the black pulley cover is at the chrome platers, its being show chromed to stand out a bit.

I do`nt get into fights like I used to, trying to lead a more peaceful life nowadays. Part of my past, can`t escape it.
But the best way to ride bikes like these is with controlled aggression, or so I`ve allways found ?

Just refitted the pulley cover after having it show chromed.
Cut the side panel back after it was getting a bit too hot. It was too close to the clutch casing.
No problem, minor mod  :thumb:

that's really nice HOS! curious about the S/C setup. you said they were custom building yours for the street, does this company have any plans to duplicate a kit for this Frankenstein project or what? this July i plan on going to the blue 08 and have always loved S/C's. NOS just doesn't appeal and turbos are OK but they're (no disrespect to  anyone) a dime a dozen now. what i will be looking for is a good smooth alternative to the jerky "too much work to enjoy" power some high HP bikes have. enough power to pucker, but like you said, also enough to be comfortable and smoothly street able. constant and consist, predictable power. pushed with a 6" over arm (probably Canadian Mike) and a 250-300 tire. they fit sooooo nice under the gen II's fat butt!

thanks for the advise  :thumb:

Hos thats one mean looking bike, having built supercharged cars I got a good idea how that beast runs, its totally differant power delivery than turbo

Absolutley Dave.C it pulls very cleanly from 2000 rpm with linear power increase right up to the redline in every gear.
There is no lag, no fuelling glitches, no spitting or coughing, no hesitancy, the bike responds instantly to the throttle in a very smart manner.
I can sit at say 60 mph in 6th gear at 2000rpm and just hit the throttle and it pulls like a train with no hickups ! Now thats something.

Ultra smooth fluid power, much more rideable than a stock or piped and chipped Busa  :thumb:

Just under 240 rwhp is enough..... at the moment. But we have built in the ability for future expansion, its a well thought out and engineered bike.
The main brief was for reliability as a regular road bike first and a weekend drag strip bike second.

Hos, thats what I was talking about the 240HP from a  supercharger is a whole bunch differant than 240 from a turbo with a supercharger you get that HP and Torqe much sooner in the rpm range. if there was anywhere near the R&D on the superchargers as there is Turbos I would have one
