I bought a 04 busa with a power commander 3, I understand that it is for fuel mixture only?
It does not effect timing, right?
The TRE mod only effects timing and not fuel, Right?

is it a pc3usb or pc3r? the 3r you can control timing but the usb is just fuel.i think the tre doesn't control timing it just tricks the computer into thinking it's in 5th where there is no restriction in speed

I do know that each gear has a timing map and the first four have retarded timing so fifth is chosen because it has the correct/desired timing curve.
