« on: January 25, 2008, 12:13:59 PM »

Well here is what I started with to the way it sits now! at the moment i've got about 4200 bucks in everything shown so I think im ok on the low buck statement! Its a custom built kit garret t-25 I was gonna use a hahn racecraft plenum but ive decided to make my own with a BOV other parts ive got a extensions new chain sprockets all the turbo components besides whatever fuel upgrades I decide to do..... Thats the basics Im trying to pick a clutch I cant decide if I want to go multistage lockup or just a 2stage? any opinions?

Dump pipes have a distinct sound.  Ive heard regular exhaust systems that are louder.

yeah, i love that sound! it's funny how finicky they are. everything effects their sound. the resonance of the material; whether they are aluminum, steel or titanium. turbo, nos even custom intake and the angel the pipe is mounted at can give it a lower, more smooth and breathing sound. you just never know exactly how it will be ‘till you fire it up. 3 friends bought the same kit for their 1ks and they all sound different.

awesome. if some one tries to steal it while you're sleeping you won't even have to open your eyes to know for sure if it's yours or not!  8)
