rear suspension questions
« on: October 28, 2007, 08:03:27 PM »
Anyone out there know the ratio of shock travel to rear wheel travel?

Also, what is the pitch of the shock preload adjustment?  How many millimeters of preload per whole turn of the aduster ring?

Thanks,
Blue

yes pete you can measure it BUT    all modern sportbikes  use "compound suspension geometry",.. this means that the wheel rate is different than the spring rate of travel,... so measuring only gives you specific points of referance unles you graph it , in which case its a curve.

either way its o complex,... and irrelevant that 99.99 percent of us dont need to know,.. besides why do we need to know?
