Texas Hill country riders
« on: November 30, 2007, 06:56:21 PM »
Hello,
question for the guys that ride in the hill country, I have been through there in my truck (337-335-336) and I am planning on going this weekend with the bike. Where is the gas stations at around there? I know theres one in Bandera but is there any others close by along the 3 sisters? Would hate to run out of gas out there.
Thanks
Bill

Sorry I missed this one LOL

I ride it atleast once a yr, 2 times if I have time- some routes on my GPS,-
Usually eat at the OST in Bandera, then head out to the 3's stopping at Leakey for gas snacks.
Stayed in Neils Cabins this time south of Leakey.

Just Map Quest Leakey, and select places near such as GAS FOOD LODGING it will bring it all up.

Have fun and watch the damn deer  8)

Have been there on the bike, gas is not a problem Leakey, Camp Wood. There is a mototcycle motel in Leakey DRose I think,it is on the net. The motorcycle museum in Vanderpool is good , lot of nice bikes. If you happen to be on 16 north of 10 Willow City loop is agood ride.
