Gann Pro Clutch
« on: December 11, 2007, 08:46:07 PM »
Along with this clutch you will need a slider outer basket and an inner hub, bearing kit and shim kit to set up properly.

This clutch is what we run in our bikes. The price is up there but if you figure out how much money you will spend in tires and clutches, gas and all the other wear and tear you will have trying to get a multi stage set upright you'll have far more money in it than this set up!

Trust me when I tell you this is the best clutch set up out there right now!

Legal in ama prostreet!!!

It is a hand operated clutch with smoother engagement than a multi stage !

2500.00 for org. members.( does not include a billet inner hub or slider outer basket, bearing kit or shim kit)
These can be purchased at the time of order.

IN STOCK!! :2thumbs:

Got a prostreet bike? Buy from NLR and save set up time. We will provide you with the same tune up in the clutch as we run in our 7.30 prostreet bikes!

i wouldnt recommend it. Most the guys that use it drag race their bikes. They do offer a clutch that is a multi stage replacement for 700.00 that guy run on the street that all the prostock guys ran before they switched to the pro clutch. The problem with the multistage is if you set it up to slip thru first gear it will also slip in top gear( according to blake gann) Then you add weight to combat the slip in top gear and it screws up first gear. With their set ups it uses springs that keep tension on the arms and dont allow the arms to snap in really fast. Once you get going they relax and have full force on the plate.

You can use a standard  billet inner hub with both clutches. It used to be that you had to use the slider inner hub but they have modified their pressure plate to use the standard one which drops the cost if you already have it.

Hope this helps

So Seb just so I get this straight. You can set this up to just throw the clutch on the line on a turbo setup and it will apply weight on the big end to prevent slip?

Thanks

Wow! That's great! Hard to get any "inside" help on clutch set ups.

perfectly legal clutch as it is hand operated. Despite what you may hear from the guys who dont know a nickel thing about it. If you hold hte level in and rev it to 9k its not going to yank it out of your hand.

yes but you cannot run any static springs in it. If you set it up like a slider you cannot drive it around at all.

my bike leaves so soft on purpose. I needed laps on the thing so I just set it up so it leaves soft. It goes between a 1.30-1.33 every pass but rips off 3.28 flats to the 330 and 4.84 in the 1/8 mile.

Ill bring my 60 fts down about another 6 hundreths by putting a bit more boost to it. Should put my 330 down to a 3.21 and my 1/8 mile to a 4.77 :thumb:
