05-up injector questions
« on: January 07, 2009, 04:10:54 PM »
Can anybody tell me exactly how the injector setup works. From what I understand, your primary injectors operate at lower rpms, but at higher rpms and during periods of hard acceleration the secondaries kick in to help out. But i've also read that at high rpms, the secondaries deliver more fuel than the primaries do. Is this correct? If it is, it seems like when replacing the injectors that you would need to replace the secondaries rather than the primaries, right? And then the next problem I see is that if you do that, well the secondaries aren't even aimed into the port, they shoot the gas straight out and is meant to be bounced off of the secondary butterflies. So what is everybody doing?

Seconderys operate at more the 4500 RPM OR Seconderys operate at 30% of opening te TPS
at 8,000 RPM an 80% TPS the Seconderys are suppying 75% of total fuel to the bike
Shooting at the butterfly was said  to help with atomization of the fuel
get big seconderys and leave the primarys alone so it is easyer to tune down low you want a pico injector

P/N WFI 194
Pico Fuel Injector
Type IWP 069
Nozzle: 1 jet
