Are the genII wheels lighter then genI? also, will the new wheels bolt right up with no modifications?

lighter yes.  same mods as the 05-08 gsxr 1000 wheels and the 1000 wheels are lighter then the gen 2busa wheels

after milling hanger and spacer in cushdrive(or chain will be out of allignment) it will.
