01-03 600 swingarm on a k5 1k

Anyone know if I can run my stock rear wheel/ brake etc or do I have to swap over?   If I use a 600 arm on my 05  1000

yes stock 1k rim,rotor ect will work..you will have to get or mod a rear caliper hanger..

I have a few 600 hangers that will work but You will have to ad a tab for the brake bar..I cut the slot off my damaged 04 1k arm for the stock setup and welded it on the 600 arm..

ps.I also heard You need some kind of spacers for where the big bolt goes threw the frame for the arm to work..

yes you will need some soacers that go into the swing arm  spencercycle has them  :thumb:

Yep got the spacers coming,  I just ordered a brake bracket to use my stock caliper.   So guess I am good to go.  thanks for the info.

what u gonna do with the stock arm? it might be fun to try it on my 03 and see if it will work if youre just gonna shit can it...dont know if it will even work but im about to pull some things apart so I could give it a shot
