Power commander PC2
« on: January 27, 2008, 08:43:30 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 2001 Busa with a Yoshimura full exhaust, K&N Airfilter and I have done the airbox mod. I took my bike several times to one of my good buddies shop and they hooked the yosh box up and tried to fix my map problem but everytime I still have problems. I just bought a Power Commander PC2 off of ebay and I was looking for maps on there web site for my bike. All they have now is for the PC3 and i cant find anything. Does anyone know where I can find some maps to download to get the correct one I need??  Thanks in advance for all you guys help.
Jimmy.

I just got the power commander, Ive never ran the bike with it on there yet.Im just trying to find a map for the PC2 with the mods i have done. Then if it still runs bad I will have a few dyno pulls done and make a custom map...
Thanks

Jimmy.

You need a serial Cable to connect to the PCII, here's the PC program for download.
Click the link and download and install the program, some maps come with the program, and should get you started.

I dunno never had that issue-

possibly comp issue/

Try connecting it to the PC on the bike turn the key on and see if it will download the map on the PC, if it does SAVE IT somehwere and make sure you know where

then try loading the map file then uploading it

I thought you were supposed to have the bike on and running while you dl for a PCII? It's been so long, and I got a PCIIIr now.
Take off like a 13, flick it like a 6

Busafied, Thanks for all of your help. It worked perfect, actualy it ran better with the map that was in it that the guy I bought it from had custom made.  My bike runs better than it ever has. I cant believe the differance the power commander made. I guess Im old school and use to the Keihin Flatslides that were on My CBR 900..
Thanks for the help
