My turbo project, updates page 3

Just started the turbo project with tearing the motor out to rebuild it
Thanks to Smithabusa for all the help and letting this be done at his house :thumb:






And some of the parts going back in




will be putting on a W/A plenum with secondaries also

we did deburr them just went real slow with a dremel and then hit it with some sandpaper by hand
it is hard to see in the pics but they are done  used your thread for advice  :thumb:
spent around 3 or so hours on them

It is a kit made by Tony(gsxturbo) going down to see him when the motor is back in to add the W/A plenum with secondaries and megasquirt system, he is also fabbing up a water/ice tank for me. kind of like what Nem uses

Yeah I spent about 3hrs doing my pistons also.... :grn:  Nice work on everything.... Yeah I was interested in one Tony's kits to.....I just decided to order something already finished but you can definetly get more bang for the buck from Tony and he does awesome work....I will be curious to see how yours comes out...... What size turbo you runnin? What HP you shooting for?




Cloud, you are right, anticipation is a BITCH...... I am DYING to get my kit on and get it running.....

it is a small 16g turbo  I guess I will be lucky to get 300hp but we will see what it gets with the good gas

Well last weekend we had a little problem on start up  and had to tear the motor out, we found the problem and Greg stayed up late all week to surprise me  with my bike being done :thumb: :thumb:

I can't say how much I appreciate all that Greg and his wife have done for me on this project. words can not even say how I feel about all his help
