Zex Window Switch
« on: March 12, 2008, 04:14:16 PM »
Does anyone know...can you use the zex window switch from a roll on or can you only set it up to operate in certain gears from a dead stop. Does it know what gear your in at all times? And if you can use it from a roll on... will it activate as soon as you turn on the switch or does it have to cycle on before activating?

The window knows which gear you are in by passing the shut off rpm a certain number of times.Example: if you have it set to shut off @ 10.5K rpm and you want it to be activated in second gear select 1 for gear activation. So you have to pass 10.5K 1 time before it will activate.Id you want to do it from a roll on set it to 0 then if you are doing 3rd gear roll ons it will activate at the start rpm at WOT.Hope this helps

Im not sure what the zex switch costs, but i could set you up with a window switch and a gps mod to lock out first gear, would serve as a TRE as well.  I have done a few of them for guys here www.boostbysmith.com/nos.html

I could add a WOT switch as well
