Here is my old 240 kit...my recs is go with the 300 kit...its kinda like speed/horse power its addictive and you can never have enough.  Plus I think the 240s just don't look big enough to fill out the back of the wide busa tail, that is why I'm going with a 300 kit now.  Think you should consider be4 you buy so you don't have to spend money 2x.   Also need to consider what is your goal with the kit, the 240 is more performance oriented, the 300 is more geared toward show and knocks off some of your power through the jackshaft, you could always do like me and go 300 with a turbo then you get the best of both worlds!!!!

Yeah that is another thing about the big tire kits with extensions get an air ride system and adjustable links, you are gonna need them to adjust ride height and make the bike suspension able to handle the extra tire/lenght...I'm still in the process of building my prostreet show bike, so as of yet I have no new pics to post, sold the bodywork from teh pics, the kit, and I'm going with a 8" over airtech tailsection and Catalyst supersport 2 part front fairings.  I can show you a pick of my rim, its friggin huge!!! :vl:

Yea pic in sound clip was from a phone..blurry.  I posted for help about posting pic..no responce ( should not have to Photobucket to poste pic)?  I have the Dapincci air for suspention and adjustable links...when the air is all off the tail sits pinky width off the tire.  Bike is basiclly done for now. Rear sets and custom map ( DYNO ) is this weekend plans.

If you go with the 300 and over kit, you can do the install...all you have to do is unbolt your swingarm, and take the new one, put the bearings in it, and bolt it up...the kits are ment to be a bolt on item...beware that with the 240 kits you will have to grind out a 1/8" from the left inside frame rail to clear the chain that is counter spaced to fit the wheel.  Oh, you will have to grind out your front sprocket cover also.  You should use photo bucket to post pics, its the easiest thing around to do it with here.  $7000, is a bit overly expensive for a big tire kit...I'm sure you can do better than that, I know I sure did!!!  About $2000 for C&S swingarm, $900 for rear PM 300 Gatlin wheel brand new in chrome with chrome sprocket, $1000 for matching front rim, and about $200 for avon venom 300 tire!!! no even close to $7000.  My recomendation is buy the arm raw, and polish or paint it...you will save in the long run!!! Both the swingarm and the frame in my pics were of polished aluminum, rim too.  Chrome tends to crack when put on parts like frames, swingarms, etc...that flex.  To give you a baseline to go by, the foot pegs and pass pegs are chrome, you can't realy tell the difference.  If you want to save a few dollars, get the swingarm, then send your factory rear wheel to "Sandy" at Kosman to get it widened...I think he can widen the factory wheels all the way up to a 400 size.  Then you don't have to worry about getting a custom set of matching rims that will cost you an arm and a leg.  By the way Kosman is reputable, they have been doing custom work for dragracers for centuries.

Apparently I cant see PMs until I post over 20?  The $7K was for Black 10 inch 330 arm, chrome sprocket, gold chains, brake line, BOTH avon tires, Both chrome RC wheels, and $450 to help with install.  All fit right up except the shop had to shave down a spacer 1/8 inch.  Thats why I had a shop help with the kit because of all the stories that kits DONT bolt right up!  That $450 also included them fabbing my custom mid pipes for the exhaust.
As of now...moving pics to a photobucket account....just to post up here, not in my time frame right now.
