I was told that the sidewall or tire (Avon)couldn't handle the rear torque of the Busa

I've run three sets of Avons on my Busa. For straight line highspeed 200 mph runs I've never been happier. BUT, they don't last very long.  

I can't say that I've tried much cornering on them, here in Texas the curves aren't very challenging.

I have used the AV35/36 tires and  yes they corner decent but don't last long

I use the AV49/50 Pro-Extreme version.

They stick like fuck and last a decent amount of time too !!

There are 2 different versions of this tyre BTW.  There are noticable differences in life and grip.  For spirited road riding I recommend the normal 49/50 Sport.     For fast road or trackday. use the Pro-Extremes.

I loved the Avon Azaro II AV49/50, the now the Azaro III is out !
