Replaced chain Clutch won't disengage?
« on: May 14, 2008, 08:49:42 AM »
Hey guy's need a little help here...

Monday night I replace my old tired chain... After 14,000 miles it desperately needed it.

Any way today I go to leave work and there is little clutch?

If I pull in the lever the clutch engages... I can shift fine, go into neutral fine... But when I release the lever it feels like the clutch won't disengage...

I took my front sprocket cover off and put a 16 tooth sprocket.. What Might I have done or fogot to do to cause this?

I did bleed the clutch. cleaned with new fluid. That helped for a little while and then the slipping came back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

When you removed the slave unit there is a little rod the sticks out on the left, make sure it  is lined up with unit properly.
