Charlie ended up with a couple of 254+'s and the 256+ today before the wind forced Keith to shut down the fun well before the 2:00pm shut-off. It was a good call since it was blowing left to right across the track but Charlie was hungry and wanting to go. Him and DaveO had decided to crank up the boost.......man, who knows what he may have ran!
He had one pass at "only" 240 'cause the bike was lofting the front wheel at 225 or so!!  The guy is gutsy for sure and a heck of a rider and DaveO is the best to have in your corner when the bell rings.
Congratulations guys on an awesome week-end, good to see you both.

There's a standing mile event outside the states? I though Maxton and Texas were the only 2.

The event over in Europe when the Busa went 265,it was in 1.3 miles not in a standing mile.I'd love to see Charlie and Rich get an extra .3 of a mile.Congrats again Charlie!!

I also heard the guy had a 40mph tailwind and hasn't been able to back up the run. Either way he ran 265 and that is a hell of an accomplishment. I would like to see more details on it though.
