Some B King questions....
« on: May 26, 2008, 01:58:55 PM »
Can anyone tell me the speed restricitions on the Bking? Does the GPS mod for the busa work on the Bking? I have the Boz Bros full system, air box mod, filter, and PCIII Usb. Using the map for the 2008 Busa, that was listed for the pipe. Just looking for any other mods that may help add a little more power. Thanks for the help. :thumb:

Get a hold of Smithabusa for GPS mod, not the same as Busa.
B-King is restricted in 5th & 6th.
If you want plug and play, the GI-PRO will work also  :thumb:

can anyone tell me what the B-king is limited to speedwise? I have a Boz Bros full system, PCIII and filter. Today was the first time I 've had it out and really wound it up and it doesn't seem to want to pull past 8000 rpm in 6th around 150 mph and nothing else is there. The bike only has 300 miles on it so far, this just seemed strange. Thanks

Hi I have Smithbusa's gps mod on mine and have been 165 mph so far and weigh 260 lbs. Just remember the b-king will never be a hayabusa, it dosen't have the arodynamics to punch a hole through the air like the faring bike's do. :thumb: :D

Thanks Greg,
I have a sprocket, 50 shot nitrous kit and PCIII hub waiting to go on with the GPS mod then me and the King are going out hunting!!!
Thanks for the heads up, could you give a call at 231-620-5379 when you ship it? By the way, are you in Michigan? I'm in Traverse city myself.
