Rear Shock (Shocking)
« on: June 15, 2008, 05:02:15 PM »
Hey, First time on this site, or any forum to be honest. My bike is a Gen 2 Busa bought 7 weeks ago. Thought it might be worth mentioning that my bike is waiting on a new rear shock. Gutted as you can imagine as it only had 1500 miles on the clock, and was 500 miles into a trip to the Moto Gp in Barcelona from Scotland. Rides like a pogo stick even with both the Comp/Rebound screwed all the way in, exciting riding to say the least.

Would love to hear from anyone else who thinks their bike rides like a big space hopper.

I put a ohlins shock on mine and the difference is............. well.......... shocking. the ohlins was a huge upgrade. I did the standard one with compression and rebound adjustments not the one with high and low speed dampening and compression adjustments. I got it from Brocks performance and they did a GREAT job specing it out for my riding style, weight etc etc.

I also did the fork internals at the same time from ohlins/brock.
