texas 9.43 at 149mph it helps to use your mode switch start in c and just as soon as you take off hit to A (helps with traction).

pretty close like the busa is a little better, yes. lol

really, if you want a bike to leave alone and not do any aftermarket stuff and you like kawisaki, buy a 14.
if you want a bike that you can beat everything before aftermarket and then still want to do lots of engine and other performance upgrades you should buy a busa.

Friday night 8/29/08 at stanton dragway I watched a 08 with pipe and commander run a 9.32 in 76%humidity and a rock hard rear tire.  Very impressed.  (Those were the Only two mods)

End of the season now, but I was able to get the stock motor setup to be pretty consistently around mid 9.0s @ 153 with mid 1.4 shorts and high 5.7s in the 1/8 mile.  I run a 5" stretch with a pipe, and I tune between runs with a datalogger.

Anyone going to the IHRA Summit finals in Pittsburg next week?

I know I can do this.  I saw it done in a cartoon once.

first time out on the strip with the K8 tomorrow, Sunday. An old airfield to be exact, but it's where I ran 9.5 with the 1400 so it will be interesting to see how it compares.

set up will be 46 rear, Shinko US, lowered and lengthened by about 3 inches

OK, first time out and had 3 runs spinning the tyre low 10s, reduced the pressure to 15psi and managed a best on the day of 9.92 @ 144.1. There's more in there to be had, but I may need to lay off the pies for a while and lose a little weight .

9.50 @ 150 not even trying to leave hard........1.7 60' times.......3.5 psi of boost........I dont think that small amount of boost makes up for a good pipe...........
