Sure. Gimme a fully built Bus with a slider and I'll run 8's too.
Props to the kid for hanging on though.

I think that's awesome...A bit daring but none the less awesome...That kid is going to make lots of money...He has it down...He benefits from coordination that us older riders have lost...

I hate to be pessimistic but I am with BELLMAN on this one. What track do you guys know of that would let a 12 yr old run an 8 second bike? Especially an NHRA track? My home track will not allow anyone under 16 to drive a dirt bike, 4 wheeler or even a bicycle on the grounds let alone run an 8 second bike. The only exception is junior dragsters.
If that 12 year old would have crashed instead of making a great pass, it would have been a huge blow to the sport of drag racing.

This should quiet down some of the haters. That's awesome bro that you've taught your son how to ride. He is one of a few. Most guys get a crotch rocket and think they know how to ride. It's no different than buying a gun, just because you own one doesn't make you a good shot, only practice, natural born talent and skill does that. Tell him to keep up the good work, and not to doubt himself.
