extra parts around the garage
« on: July 31, 2008, 11:18:30 AM »
One day my wife came into my garage.  She saw busa parts everywhere.  She commented that it looks like I have enough parts to build another bike.  As I looked around, I realized that I just may have enough to do that.  Here are pics of my new project.  I need to paint it and put a motor in it.  It will be strictly a track bike.

04 frame
CM 0-6 adjustable swingarm
race body
4" over tail
chrome wheels

Put a 125cc dirt bike motor in it and make a pit bike out of it! :D

Without the motor in it now, it feels like a 125.

thats cool shit ! I did the same thing a few weeks ago . mines SWB and has my big block ethanol motor in it so itll be damn near unridable but its cool . I have a whole box of electronics to install tomorrow . I did have to buy a body kit and still need a power commander .

If I could sell that big block motor i'd build it as a turbo...  wanna 13k motor   ill let it go for 10k !  :thumb:

ill probably just buy a stock engine and spray the hell out of it and then wait for the winter time to get a big bore or turbo.  Id love to have tha 10k engine, but its a little out of my budget for now.  would you take 2500 for it....LOL

these projects are super cool because even if it costs a little bit of money its like a reward for cleaning out the shop . less clutter = new busa  :thumb:

You should put a lock on the garage door...
