full exhaust swap and install

About to attempt to install an AKRO exhaust that came off a 2007 Hayabusa on my friends 2008 Busa.Told it would work but before we begin does anybody know for sure or anybody tried it

You will have to cut/trim the fairings or it will rub/melt the plastics in a couple spots....

When you say "cut or trim" is this something extreme that will change the way the bike looks? I'm assuming performance will also be the same compared to other exhaust also  even thought the akro was designed for the gen 1 bike. Thanks for the help
