Hey everyone...
First post here! Just wanted to let everyone know about the Suzuki Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout, which is being held on Sunday October 5 at Grand Bend Motorplex in Grand Bend, ON.

This is Canada's ULTIMATE Pro Street race - the only chance to see some of the best Pro Street drag racers IN THE WORLD competing North of the border. This is the rescheduled date after our earlier event was rained out (twice!)

Grand Bend is only about an hour from the Michigan/Ontario border...

Big payouts, an IHRA National event track, fun day overall. There will also be one big bracket Bike class for all two-wheeled entries. Big payouts in that class too!

Some of our proud supporters this year include Suzuki Canada, RCC Turbos, Hindle and Brock's to name a few!

Come on out and enjoy some of the best no-bar, street tire competition you will see anywhere!

Sorry to say I won't be able to make the rain date...

Have committed to run at my local track for an event that will be televised on SPEED channel

if it wasn't for that I'd be there to support Richard at RCC Turbo with runnin in the shootout class

It's looking to be a GREAT event...weather's looking good, and some of the fastest Busas ANYWHERE will be there! I can't wait, only 2 days away!

i left before the end of the event. no rain , but started to get cold in the evening.
a lot of great bikes showed up. here are a few pics. 7.46 @ 198 was the fastest that i can remember.
i never got a good clear pic of the rmr busa.........lots of videos.
unfortunately i do not know where i can host hi-def vids.

yeah software lets me grab a pic from the video in 1 tenth of a second intervals.............by the next frame the 14 is moving.
i would have got better up close pics , but the fast pix guy was dick . he was pissy when i got up close to the track.

man you got a nice camera and software then cuz those are killer quality shots... especially bein captured from video.

hate when track photographers are all pissy liek that.. good thing at US131 and Byron and even the Grove their guys dont' mind at all..

I can kind of see their point in you're takin away the possibility if maybe that rider comin to THEM to purchase a picture if you're doin it but come on... they can't be the only person with a camera snappin away LOL
