Gen I pipe on a Gen II ??

Just wondering if my gen 1 pipe aftermarket pipe will fit the 08 busa?? I read somewhere just after they hit the showroom that they would, but i am just curious.... Has anyone tried it, or is the head different?

I heard that the head is the same but the plastics may have to be cut.  But perhaps someone with actual experience will answer this for certain.  I'm just grabbing a free post.   :lol:

I've been told also that they fit there is just a bit of fairing triming that needs to occur.
